Hi, I'm new to this forum and new to my latest purchase...a Beretta U22 NEOS. I'm a lefty so I had to rule out a couple of fine pistols. The Beretta has the safety on both sides. It's up, out of the way, also. The mag release is set forward of the trigger guard and although on the wrong side, there is no chance of actuating it by accident...another plus. The grips are the same on both sides, but are substantial enough to be able to get a good hold without feeling like they might slip. It's a strange looking pistol with its unconventional grip angle, but it feels good to me. The price was better than all the offerings I found in its class. Oh yeah, the trigger kinda sucks...creep! It's a fun gun and suits this left hand shooter just fine for my purposes.
